KARACHI: Rangers carried out targeted operation in Lyari area, apprehending seven people on suspicion of their involvement in criminal group and recovering weapons from their possession late on Friday, Geo news reported.
According to the sources, two dozens gamblers were also detained from the same area.
Sindh Rangers spokesman said that the raid was conducted in a gambling den in Khadda market area of Lyari and seven suspects were held. Weapons were also recovered from their possession.
The detained suspects included Rafiq, Naseer, Inayat, Faizan, Umar and Zubair. The detainees have been taken to unknown location for interrogation.
